The Force Is Strong With This One
G-Force, What's That?
That is a great question, and shamefully, up until this post, I really had no idea how to scientifically explain what G-force is, but I could tell you how it feels. According to the experts at GForces.net, G-force is the force of gravity on a particular extraterrestrial body or the force of acceleration anywhere. Confused yet? Let's try to simplify that response. According to the International Association of Amusement parks and Attractions, one G is equal to the normal pull of earth's gravity on the body. There's A Roller Coaster for Everyone
What Kind Of Rider Are You
Asking the difference between certain roller coasters is like asking the difference between a Lamborghini and a Prius; both will take you on a ride but one will get you there a hell of a lot faster! You have three kinds of roller coaster riders:- You have the novice rider who likes a little bit of excitement but does not want to be upside down, high in the air, or go extremely fast.
- You have the intermediate rider who loves a thrill. They enjoy loops, corkscrews, twist and turns, and don't mind a good amount of speed and height.
- Then you have your thrill-seekers. Our motto is: "The bigger, the better". We enjoy extreme heights, death-defying drops, speeds over 100 MPH, and more twists then a sheet of Auntie Anne's pretzel.

Rip, Ride, Rockit- Orlando Sentinel |
Standing at a massive 17 stories and reaching speeds of up to 65 mph, Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit can be an intimidating site for even the veteran roller coaster enthusiasts. I recall one afternoon while waiting in line, a patron was trying to convince his wife to take that leap of faith and go on Rip, Ride, Rockit. I never forget his wife's response, "Are you crazy? Do you want me to die?". Naturally, as any smart man would do, they left the ride never to be seen or heard from again. Ok, maybe that is a little dramatic but her response was one I have heard one too many times, and actually have shared the same sentiment at one point in my life. How safe are roller coasters?
